Welcome to StarMhunting.com, the homepage of the Star M Ranch located in the beautiful hill country of central Texas. Archery and Gun hunting for trophy Fallow Bucks, Whitetail Bucks and Does are available as package hunting trips. About Star M RanchMy name is Randy Merkin. My grandfather started this ranch by buying the first part back in 1938. It started as a 240 acre ranch and was expanded to 440 acres by my father.
I grew up hunting on this ranch and had so many wonderful experiences to remember that I decided that I would like to spend this part of my life creating some of those experiences for others.
In 2003 I decided that the only way to insure that the size and quality of deer could be improved 
I would have to high fence the ranch.
This paid off and today there
are a number of quality whitetail and fallow bucks on this place.
I would now like to start making some new friends and creating some of these wonderful hunting experiences by providing some of the most memorable hunting trips for them.
Whether it be a family, or a couple of friends, please give me the opportunity to show you a real good time.
When a hunt is booked, your group will be the only ones on the place hunting at that time.
Please feel free to call anytime to ask questions.
Although individual prices are shown, feel free to call for special pricing on group rates. Gun and bow hunters are welcome. Whitetail hunts have to be scheduled during texas hunting seasons, but fallow hunts can be scheduled year round. Only a small number of hunts will be scheduled each year so call early to assure availability. |
