Hunting Rules and Information

A valid Texas hunting license is required for anyone that is hunting. All Texas Parks and Wildlife Rules and regulations will be followed. Safety is a priority. No loaded guns in camp or in a vehicle. Blinds are the method of hunting. Blinds are available for gun and bow hunting however you are welcome to bring your own tripod for bow hunting. A guide will be on all gun hunts. Bow hunters can hunt alone, however you will be held financially responsible for any animal wounded or taken while hunting. If an animal is wounded or hit it is considered a kill and you will be charged the full price for that animal whether it is recovered or not. There is no guarantee of a kill if hunting alone on a bow hunt.

The full deposit will have to be received before any hunt date is reserved. If a hunt is canceled prior to 30 days before the scheduled hunt the deposit will be refunded. After 30 days prior to the hunt a cancellation will forfeit the deposit. After 30 days prior to the hunt it maybe rescheduled if any dates are available for that year, if not the deposit will be lost. The balance of the cost of the hunt scheduled will be required to be paid prior to the hunt. Money order, cashiers check, or cash will be required, no personal checks or credit cards accepted.

A reasonable shot (as determined by the guide) will be guaranteed at an animal of the size of hunt booked. However, we cannot be held responsible for you not taking the shot or not being able to hit the animal. If a reasonable shot is made available and you do not take it or you miss, our guarantee has been fulfilled.

The StarMRanch, its owners, guides, or anyone connected to the hunt cannot be held responsible for any accidents. There are inherent dangers in hunting and being out in the wild and you will be held responsible for any accidents or injuries to yourself or property.
